Coaching Staff at a glance......
The coaching staff is a combination of adult and youth leaders. Our coaching staff goals are to help each jumper to learn teamwork, leadership, fellowship, and how to deal with defeat and success, while building on valuable life skills through all levels of participation within the team and the sport of jump rope. We provide a support structure in which jumpers can reach their competitive, performing, and teaching potential at all levels while growing physically, mentally, and spiritually through character building and community involvement in a positive environment.
Anita Gabel
HEAD COACH
Anita has been the Head Coach & President of Jammin' Jumpers since 1998. Currently, a PE/Health teacher with over 25 years of experience, loves working with the Adaptive PE program. She serves as the Norton City Schools OEA Representative and NES Safety Committee Member. She received her AS Degree in Business Administration from SUNY Morrisville, BS Degree in Health & Physical Education from Western KY University, and MA Degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Akron. Anita has served as Head Coach for Track & Field, Volleyball, and Youth Soccer. She has served as a Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer for over 10 years. She is CPR/First Aid Certified, NFHS Certified, and Youth Coach Certified. Currently an AMJRF Jump Rope Instructor Master Trainer, AMJRF Founding Board Member, AMJRNC Organizing Chairperson, Risk Management Officer, and Arnold Jump Rope Championship Director. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, running, and reading.
Kaitlin Witzberger
ASSISTANT COACH
Kaitlin is a 19 year veteran of the Jammin' Jumpers and is an Alumni Member. She earned several Regional, National, and World Champion Titles. She serves as an AMJRF Ambassador, American Jump Rope Camp Staff Leader, AMJRF Marketing Committee Member. Kaitlin is a certified AMJRF Jump Rope Certified Instructor. She helps lead junior jumpers and is the Jammin’ Jumpers Board of Directors Secretary. She has a BA Degree in Public Relations and is currently working for Hudson School District as a Public Relations Specialist.
